Last Thursday, we had the chance to see legendary hip hop emcee Guru (Gifts Unlimited, Rhymes Universal) at First Avenue in Minneapolis. He was there pushing the hell out of his latest Jazzmatazz record. Don't get me wrong, his rhymes are dope, but the show was more of a commercial for his producer than an artistic expression of self. At least he spit a rhyme for me after the show, that was nice of him. Thanks to KVSC for the tix.

I must say, it feels good to be baack in the saddle again. This time I'm packing some heat. The archives have been tapped to test drive my new MacBook Pro. Aaaaaah yeeaaaah!!! Stay tuned .... at least until my next unannounced prolonged hiatus.
